What's Sunset Park GO

Welcome to our little neck of the woods. Sunset Park is located in the borough of Brooklyn, New York City . A community of about 150,000 people bordered by Bay Ridge in the South, Park Slope on the North and Borough Park on the East. The neighborhood is named after Sunset Park, located on one of the highest points in Brooklyn. The park affords a magnificent view of the Manhattan skyline as well as New Jersey and Staten Island. The neighborhood boasts one of the largest Chinese communities in New York City. It is in fact the second largest Chinatown. Other ethnic groups that abound are Hispanics from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic as well as Central and South America. There are also large numbers of Finns, Norwegians, Italians, Irish, Orthodox Jews as well as others. Giving the neighborhood the diversity one expects of a section of New York City. We hope this web site will reflect the character of the neighborhood and act as a window to the world outside as well as an opportunity for the rest of the world to learn about us. This site has recently undergone a redesign. We have a chat room and a Bulletin Board and welcome your comments and contrubutions.  Please feel free to contact us.
